Glad you asked. You are probably bored with your home cooked meals, and would like to visit a restaurant for a change. On the other hand, your doctor has advised you not to eat restaurant foods as it can result in weight gain. You simply don’t know which way to go, right? In this article I will tell you how to enjoy restaurant foods while at the same time making sure that you don’t get any fatter!

Here is a rule of thumb for you: if a certain food tastes too good it is not good for your health. Raw vegetables and fruits, which usually taste awful, are the best to quickly lose weight!

1. Visit vegetarian restaurants: You could visit restaurants that only serve vegetarian meals. Not to say that non-veg meals are bad, with them you just ensure you the meal is not too high-calorie or high-fat.

For instance generally speaking chicken at restaurant chicken is full of bad fats but if you get lean chicken it is better for you. Now not all restaurants offer lean chicken meat on their menu as part of their menus. Vegetarian restaurants will almost always offer a wider variety of healthy choices instead of the one or two healthy choices on the entire menu.

2. Do not use salad dressing or at minimum be very sparingly. We all know salads are good for us so we get that and then pus a full cup of dressing smothering it. Almost all weight loss diet programs tell you recipe for fast health is LOW OR NO DRESSING! Listen to them.

3. Buffets, Buffets, Buffets, NO, NO, NO… Need I say more, if there has ever been an anti fast weight lose club they would meet at the buffet. All you can eat stuff yourself to the point of nausea. These places make everything in huge vats of fat and grease. If you can avoid then you would be better for it that is for sure.

4. That brings me to my last tip if you want fast health then you must control your portions. Most restaurants serve portions big enough for two meals so take advantage of that fact by (1) order child portions or (2) carry the leftovers back home to be eaten on the next day. They have boxes for the asking to help you carry the leftovers.

So use your discretion, and there is nothing wrong with eating at a restaurant once in while. So go ahead and appease your taste buds! Do not forget that you must incorporate weight lose diet plans into your life if you want sustainable results. Until next time…
